The Biggest Mistake Authors Make on Their Facebook Profile

Imagine a  new reader trying to search your name on Facebook and they click on the search link to your page only to find your Facebook profile. Do you have a highly visible way for them to get to your Facebook author page?

Many authors have listed their current workplace as “Author” in an attempt to let people know they write books. The problem is, if you list your workplace as author, the live link takes people to a generic Facebook page with no information on how to find you. You need to fix that link to redirect people to your Facebook author page. It’s a pretty easy fix and should take you about 60 seconds tops. If your personal profile lists Author as your workplace (as seen below), then you need to make this fix.
