Results of the AOL/Converto marketing research rating the top social media channels on their abilities in the various stages of the sales funnel. The orange section (one touch purchase) rates the channel’s ability to take a prospective buyer from Introduction all the way through to conversion in one visit. Because this data was compiled before Facebook bought Instagram and it began its meteoric climb, the data on Instagram did not appear in the top channels. Currently, it occupies third place behind Facebook in funnel influence.
